Every vehicle requires specific fluid formulations to prevent internal mechanical wear:

Viscosity Number Match: Look for the two numbers on the bottle (like 5W-30, 0W-20, or 10W-40). The first number with the "W" is for startup flow, and the second is how thick the oil stays when fully heated up. Always follow the numbers stamped on your car's oil cap or in your owner handbook.

Brake Fluid Ratings: Never mix incompatible brake fluid ratings (for example, silicone-based DOT 5 must never be mixed with glycol DOT 3 or DOT 4). Using the wrong type will ruin your braking system's rubber seals.

Fuel Treatment Matching: Ensure fuel cleaners match your fuel type, as petrol injectors require different cleaning solvents than diesel systems.
